Our Process

At Oakbridge Bespoke we recognise that the success of any project requires a clear understanding of the client’s requirements. We strive to build strong collaborative relationships with clients to provide open, two-way communication from client to consultant to contractor. This contributes to your project being delivered on time and within budget.

    We arrange a meeting to discuss the project and understand our clients ideas, aspirations and expectations. We will ensure they have a clear understanding of the process and how we will work with them.

    Architectural Design & Planning Service

    We can obtain planning (if required) and undertake the rigorous process of detailed design and structural engineering calculations for the project.

    Planning Application Submission

    Upon agreement of the design of your home we will submit the planning application and associated documents on your behalf. We can also and undertake the rigorous process of detailed design and structural engineering calculations for the project.

  • Stage 3

    6-8 weeks

    Tender Submission

    Once the project design and brief are finalised we will provide a full tender detailing our price and programme. We will then prepare and agree a formal contract.

    Once the project brief is finalised we will provide a full tender detailing our price and programme. We will then prepare and agree a formal JCT contract.

  • Stage 4

    6-12 weeks

    Client Choices

    We guide our clients through the decision making process to enable us to procure and order each element of the project. We can provide a dedicated Client Management resources to help guide you through the process of specifying and designing your home.

  • Stage 5

    12-14 months

    Construction

    Construction commences on site, this includes clearing the site, building the sub structure (foundations and drainage), superstructure (walls and roofs), constructions works internally and external works. Our dedicated Site Manager and Construction Manager provides competent management during the building phase.

  • Stage 6

    up to 24 months

    Commissioning and Testing

    Upon completion of the build, our contractors will undertake the testing and commissioning of all relevant parts of the property.

    Completion & Handover

    Our team will then undertake an in-depth handover with our clients to ensure you understand the workings of the home.

    Customer Care

    Our dedicated Customer Care Team are on hand to assist you and your property for 2 years post completion.
